jules asked:

I know when it’s hotter out you need to water your plants and flowers more often, and I’ve heard that you shouldn’t water your flowers everyday, unless it’s hot out. But, my question is, how much water should I give my flowers. I have a variety of flowers in pots. I’ve heard you should water them until it starts to drip out from the bottom, is that true? Can you over water flowers?

Its not good to over water flowers because they well just end up dying.. the best thing to do is to water them until you see water coming out from the pot. this means that the roots have just enough water but not too much. i hope this helps!!!

Yes, you can over water your flowers and they will die. The leaves will start turning yellow and then they will just die. I always feel the soil and if it is dry, then, I water them. Don’t soak them, just give them a good drink. And, never water them in the heat of the day. Always water them very early morning, or late evening.

I agree with me, but watering plants in the morning is preferential to evening watering, because continuos watering at night tends to cause mould

for the plants that u have in pots, add a drop of dishsoap to your water before giving it to them

It keeps the soil moister for longer and doesnt hurt them!

    Good for these hot summers
