My back yard has no shade and gets very hot in the summer (100+). Any suggestions on what type of flowers to plant.

    I live in Texas and it really is hot in the summer……..I grow Iris….Cannons….Lillies.they are really pretty in the Spring and green during the hot Months

    Marigolds and Moss Rose They stand heat and drought very well.

    i use Mexican heather it has small purple flowers it is and annual but it does wonderful in hot weather also rose moss (portulaca) grows great in the heat just make sure to dead head it once in a while and it will last all summer

    you can plant bougainevilla or hibiscus

    Marigolds, California poppies, ice plant, and bouganvillea do well. Plant some oak trees for shade, they are very drought resistant.
